Miss Opal is a 5 year-old tricolor full-size Bernese Mountain Dog and a former breeder. She loves affection when you’ve earned her trust. Opal is good with other dogs, cats and rabbits, and is pretty social for a former breeder. Good with respectful children.
A PHYSICAL (not electric) fenced yard is required as she needs room to safely run. She is learning “Wait,” “Come,” and “Go to kennel;” crate trained and house trained (though some accidents may occur when moving to a new home).
Preference given to applicants within 75 miles of Elkhart, Indiana.
Opal is up to date on shots. She will be a great family companion. Opal will need a fair amount of time to address her anxiety and continue her training in her forever home. Adoption fee: $400. For more information on Opal, contact her foster mom Linda via Call or Text (574) 215-0760.
