Chloe

Chloe
ChloeFemale, 12 yrs, Terrier mix

Hello, my name is Chloe — which is a feminine name of Greek origin, meaning “blooming” — and I would love to be picked by you to continue blooming in your family garden. I am 12 years old and have a terrier-mix bloodline. As you can see my large brown eyes are set off beautifully by my lovely golden-brown fur. I found myself at Second Chance Small Dog Rescue because my senior parents were no longer able to care for me. I like playing and socializing with other dogs and bigger humans so I would be better suited to a home without young children. I am up to date on my vaccinations, spayed, heartworm negative, and on prevention. I recently had a successful dental visit and some bloodwork done — the vet reported that all was good “for my age” — so I plan on being around for a long time. I weigh approx. 12 lbs. Are you interested in adopting Chloe? Her adoption fee is $100. Call her foster mom Mary at 574-524-6040 for more information between 9AM & 9PM.

Bella, female Yorkie mix and Bailey, male Yorkie

These two best friends were found running stray together, and they are truly a bonded pair. We are looking for a loving home lucky enough to adopt both.

Bella is a total love bug (born in 2019?) with abundant energy when she’s not busy snuggling or looking adoringly into your face! She is super friendly and gentle. She is crate trained, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and heartworm negative. Bella enjoys a fenced area outdoors.

Bailey weighs in at about 13-14 lbs. He was badly injured when found with Bella, so the vet amputated a hind leg due to the damage. He has gained strength over time and now navigates staircases with ease. He LOVES to chase tennis balls and chew on bones. He is happy and friendly, with just a touch of “Yorkie attitude.” Crate trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. A fenced yard would allow Bailey to play fetch more freely.

The dogs’ adoption fee is $350. For information contact their foster mom, Michelle between 9AM & 9PM at (616) 949-7813 or email m.vangeest@att.net.
